What is the application process?
Applications must be submitted online through the Center for Scholarship Administration (CSA) website. There are three steps to complete the application:
1. Click the "create application" button below to answer the prequalifying questions. When you submit these, it will automatically take you to the profile page.
2. Create or update your profile. Save and continue to the online application.
3. Complete the online application. A confirmation email will be sent when the online portion of your application is complete. Applicant should contact CSA if a confirmation email is not received.
4. Mail in, or email, the packet of additional required materials. See "What constitutes a complete application" below.

Applicants Must:
• Be dependent children of employees of Hugo Neu Corporation, its subsidiaries, and joint ventures in which Hugo Neu Corporation has a financial interest. Employees must work at least 30 hours per week and have a minimum of one year continuous employment with Hugo Neo Corporation as of the application deadline.
• Be high seniors, high school graduates, or students who are already enrolled or planning to enroll in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two or four year college, university, or vocational-technical school for the entire upcoming academic year.
• Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 or greater on a 4.0 scale.
• Demonstrate financial need.
• Demonstrate traits of high personal character and leadership.

You must submit the following additional materials:
• Official transcript with grades and cumulative GPA posted through the latest semester.
• Submit a SIGNED LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION from a teacher or professor.
• Signed Student Authorization and Acknowledgements Form, found in the online application, signed by the scholarship candidate.
Download the Student Authorization and Acknowledgements Form.• Submit a PERSONAL STATEMENT/ESSAY. Submit a one-page signed personal statement explaining why the scholarship is important to the applicant. Include college and career plans, if known.

Note: Each item should include both the applicant's name and name of the scholarship at the top of the page.
In order to be considered for this scholarship, please:
Submit a SIGNED copy of parents` FEDERAL TAX FORM 1040 (pages one and two only) for the latest year these forms were actually filed. In case of divorced parents, only the custodial parent`s (and current spouse's if remarried) financial information will be required. If you have already submitted your FAFSA submission summary, please submit your FEDERAL TAX FORM 1040 in order to be considered
- What is the value of the Scholarship Award?
Awards are made in the amount of up to $10,000. Awards must be applied towards tuition, books, fees and supplies. The award must be used within the awarded year.
- How can scholarship awards be applied?
Funds may only be used to pay tuition, fees, books and supplies as required by your courses.
- What school may I attend?
You must be a full time student enrolled at any accredited two or four-year college, university, technical, or vocational school,institution provided the institution meets the following requirements.
The institution must be an educational organization that normally maintains a regular faculty and curriculum and normally has a regularly enrolled body of pupils or students in attendance at the place where its educational activities are regularly carried on. To the extent the institution is involved in the selection of the recipients (if at all), such involvement must comply with the Fund's policy of awarding scholarships on an objective and non-discriminatory basis as well as the Fund's Conflict of Interest Policy. - What if I am unable to attend consecutive semesters?
Extenuating circumstances requiring a student to sit out a semester must be explained in writing to CSA. You will be notified of the final decision.
- How are winners selected?
Scholarship Selection Committee considers respective ability, educational goals, financial need and career ambitions. Awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, age, gender, disability or national origin
- How will I be notified if I am chosen as a recipient?
All applicants will be notified via email, whether or not they have been selected to receive a scholarship. Those students selected will download a package from their online account that includes a scholarship agreement and information about the scholarship terms.
- Is this scholarship renewable?
The scholarship is for one year only; however current recipients may reapply each year.
